Come to Burnt Bridge Cellars today and enjoy our wine and air conditioning! Our newly renovated patio will be the stage this afternoon for our favorite local "blues, country, and zydeco" musicians, The Mudbugs! The Mudbugs are set to play on the patio from 4-6pm. We have such a fantastic view from our South facing windows also, a great place to see classic cars cruising by!
Live Music by: The Mudbugs from 4-6pm
"The Mudbugs are an acoustic duo consisting of singer/songwriter/guitarist KG Jackson, a multiple Cascade Blues Association Muddy award nominee for "Top Male Vocalist" and "Best New Band". His wife Candy, also a CBA award nominee plays accordion for The Mudbugs. Their music can be best described as true roots music from the South. The Mudbugs create a delicious Americana music gumbo. You'll hear a little bit of Zydeco, Country, Blues, and Cajun. Candy has been schooled by Zydeco accordion greats such as Sunpie, Jude Taylor, and Corey Ledet and she provides the sparkle of the duo. Ken leads the band with stellar vocals and may even throw out a yodel or two. The Mudbugs play classic tunes by Clifton Chenier, Hank Williams, and Doc Watson, just to name a few, as well as many originals penned by the duo. KG and Candy travel south in the winter to entertain folks but enjoy playing for people in their hometown of Vancouver, WA most of all.
