Featured Local Artist: Bruce Tarbet, Photographer

Joining us this evening, is our featured local artist, Bruce Tarbet. Bruce is a passionate photographer which is reflected in his work. He will be showing at our tasting room through April and May, and all of his images are for sale.

"Through pixel manipulation, Bruce Tarbet uses bold colors and dramatic forms to create graphic, emotional and playful images with his digital photography

He’s intrigued by patterns of color, shape and light: sunrays through a thicket of willows; shimmering highlights on a gravel streambed; the sunbleached limbs of a downed pine. His interest in photography began during high school with film processing, and continues today with his transition to digital cameras and dark room.

His life experience has been shaped by being a husband, father of two sons and developing careers in publishing, sales and advertising. He’s active in the outdoors as a hiker, traveler and occasional fly fisher. One of his greatest personal accomplishments was walking, with his wife Diane, 250 miles of the Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage by foot across northern Spain.

Raised in Moscow, Idaho, he has lived in, and been influenced by, the Pacific Northwest his entire life. He and his wife recently relocated to Vancouver, Washington." To see his art, please visit his website at:

Live Music: Doug Smith and Judy Koch Smith, Master of contemporary fingerstyle acoustic guitar

"Acoustic Guitarist Doug Smith is a Grammy Award Winner and the 2006 winner of the prestigious Winfield International Fingerstyle Guitar Competition." Also, "his playing has been heard on the big screen in the popular 2007 film August Rush and his original compositions are heard everywhere from NPR to TCM to Martha Stewart to Good morning America.
